What Is All-on-X?
All-on-X replaces most or all teeth in one or both jaws with a custom bridge that attaches to dental implants. Unlike a denture that rests on your gums, it's designed to stay secure while you talk, laugh, and eat.
The X is the number of implants. Instead of fitting everyone to a four-implant or six-implant formula, Dr. Sayeedi selects the number and position your bone, bite, and smile actually need.
American Dental Association overview of dental implantsSmile
Your new teeth are designed for bite, speech, lip support, and a natural look.
Connection
Precision components link the implants to your new teeth and share biting forces.
Foundation
Implants are placed in your jawbone in positions mapped from your 3D scan.
Compare the Main Paths
All-on-4, All-on-6, or All-on-X: What's the Difference?
More implants aren't automatically better, and fewer aren't automatically simpler. The right design depends on your bone, arch shape, bite forces, materials, and how easily you can keep it clean.
All-on-4
4 implants per arch- Best for
- Arches where four well-placed implants give enough support
- How it's planned
- Angled back implants can make good use of available bone
- Key question
- Can four implants handle the forces on this arch?
All-on-X
Personalized count- Best for
- Anyone who wants a plan built on their anatomy, not a preset number
- How it's planned
- Count, angles, and positions are chosen after 3D imaging and smile design
- Key question
- Which design gives you the safest, most maintainable result?
All-on-6
6 implants per arch- Best for
- Patients with enough bone to benefit from two extra support points
- How it's planned
- Extra implants spread support, but need adequate bone and space
- Key question
- Would two more implants make this plan stronger?
Designed Around Daily Life
What Patients Want From All-on-X
The goal isn't just to fill spaces. It's to fix the everyday moments that brought you here.
Chew with confidence
Implant support can feel far steadier than a loose removable denture.
Teeth that stay put
Your new teeth are fixed to implants, so nothing comes out at night.
A smile designed for you
Shape, shade, smile line, lip support, bite, and speech are planned together.
An end to patchwork repairs
Replace a group of failing teeth instead of fixing them one at a time.
No more adhesive
Fixed implant teeth don't rely on denture paste to stay in place.
One coordinated plan
Imaging, surgery, temporary teeth, final teeth, and maintenance follow one path.
Results, comfort, food choices, and treatment time vary by patient. Full function develops through healing, bite adjustments, and ongoing care.

Your All-on-X Treatment Roadmap
- 01
Listen and examine
Dr. Sayeedi learns what isn't working and reviews your health history, teeth or denture, gums, bite, and goals.
- 02
Scan and design
3D imaging maps your bone and anatomy, and implant positions are planned around your future teeth.
- 03
Review your plan
You'll see your recommended implant count, any extractions or grafting, temporary teeth, materials, timeline, and estimated fees.
- 04
Place implants
Implants are placed following your digital plan, with Yomi robotic guidance when clinically appropriate.
- 05
Wear temporary teeth
Qualified patients may receive fixed temporary teeth during the surgical phase. Others use a different temporary option while healing.
- 06
Final teeth and care
After healing, your final teeth are refined for fit, bite, appearance, and easy cleaning. Regular maintenance protects your result.
A Straight Answer on Same-Day Teeth
Can You Leave With Teeth the Same Day?
"Same-day teeth" usually means a fixed temporary bridge attached right after your implants are placed. It isn't your final set of teeth, and it doesn't skip healing.
Whether you qualify depends on implant stability, bone quality, the number and position of implants, bite forces, and your health. If those conditions aren't met, protecting your implants while they heal comes first.
Everyone leaves with teeth on surgery day.
Same-day eligibility is a clinical decision made for your case, not a promise in an ad.
Same-day teeth are the final teeth.
Temporary teeth protect and function during healing. Your final teeth are crafted after your gums and implants heal.
Once the teeth are in, recovery is done.
A soft-food period and follow-up visits are still an important part of healing.
Your Health Guides the Decision
Who Is a Good Candidate for All-on-X Near Hayward?
Adults with extensive tooth loss, a failing arch, or an unstable denture may be candidates. Age alone doesn't decide it. Healing, bone, gums, bite, medical history, and your ability to care for the restoration matter more.
Good signs
- Most or all teeth in one arch are missing or have a poor long-term outlook
- Gum disease and any infection can be brought under control
- There's enough bone for the planned design, or supporting treatment is possible
- Medical conditions are stable enough for surgery and healing
- You're ready for daily cleaning and regular professional maintenance
Worth a closer look
- Uncontrolled diabetes or another condition that affects healing
- Smoking, vaping, or other tobacco use
- Active gum disease or untreated infection
- Severe clenching or grinding
- Medications or health history that may affect bone or surgery
These factors don't always rule out treatment, but they can change the plan, timing, risks, or the best alternative.
Fellowship in ImplantologyPlanning Led by Experience
Meet Dr. Syed Z. Sayeedi, DDS
Dr. Sayeedi has practiced dentistry since 2001 and holds a Fellowship in Implantology. In a full-arch case, he plans more than the implants: surgery, temporary teeth, bite, final restoration, cleaning access, and long-term follow-up all have to work together.
Noble Dental Care uses 3D imaging and offers Yomi robotic guidance for appropriate implant cases. Technology helps carry out a digital plan precisely, but it doesn't replace clinical judgment. Dr. Sayeedi's exam determines whether All-on-X, All-on-6, FP-1, an implant denture, or another approach fits you best.

All-on-X Questions From Hayward Patients
The X is the number of implants selected for your full-arch restoration. Dr. Sayeedi chooses it after reviewing your bone, anatomy, bite forces, restorative design, and long-term maintenance needs.
No. All-on-4 is one type of full-arch treatment that uses four implants. All-on-X is the broader approach, because your plan may use four, six, or another appropriate number of implants.
Some patients receive fixed temporary teeth on the day their implants are placed. Eligibility depends on implant stability, bone quality, health, bite, and the surgical plan. Your final teeth are usually completed after healing.
Not always. 3D imaging shows whether your existing bone can support the planned implants or whether grafting or another approach should be considered.
Not by you. The restoration is designed to stay fixed in place, and only your dental team removes it when needed. You'll still clean around and beneath it every day with the tools we recommend.
The surgical visit may take one day, but the full process commonly takes several months. Extractions, grafting, healing, temporary teeth, and final restoration design can all affect the schedule.
With daily home care and regular professional maintenance, dental implants can serve for many years. The bridge itself may need adjustment, repair, or replacement over time, which we'll discuss in your plan.
Noble Dental Care offers sedation dentistry. Dr. Sayeedi will review which sedation options suit your health and your treatment plan at your consultation.
Most patients follow a soft or modified diet during early healing. Dr. Sayeedi gives you instructions based on implant stability, your temporary teeth, and your recovery.
Daily care usually includes brushing plus cleaning beneath the bridge with floss threaders, interdental brushes, or a water flosser, depending on your design. Regular professional maintenance is essential.
